My role is to develop the strategic club and volunteering services of the partnership. This includes delivering specific volunteering programmes and supporting the sub regional and Local Authority volunteering groups. The current club development services include assisting with school-club links, support and promotion of clubmark and providing club development workshops.
Previous experience
I graduated from Loughborough University with a degree in PE and Sport Science and spent numerous years working on Local Authority play and summer schemes whilst studying. I have worked in primary education as a Teaching Assistant and briefly as a teacher and also taught health and fitness in Adult Community Education, before moving to work in Sports Development. I have taken part in many sports, my main sport being Athletics.
