Step into Sport is one of the strands that make up the PE and Sport Strategy for Young People and contributes to the 5 hours a week of high quality sport. The purpose behind the Step into Sport programme is to offer young volunteers high quality leadership opportunities. Step into Sport Community Volunteering focuses on young people aged between 16 – 19 years (in education) and aims to encourage them to undertake an involvement in sports leadership and volunteering that will continue in later life.
If you are still in education, aged between 16 & 19 years and have a passion for learning, meeting new people and developing new skills then please follow the VOLUNTEER link.
